Fleeson Gooing attorneys Megan Townsley and Calvin Rider were both recognized with a President’s Award at the Wichita Bar Association’s annual Law Day and Awards Luncheon held May 12, 2026, at Botanica the Wichita Gardens.

The President’s Award winners were selected by outgoing WBA President Christy Campbell who is pictured with them above. The Award is given in recognition of outstanding service to the WBA in the current year or within the past few years. It recognizes the successful accomplishment of a law-related project or service where the recipient’s work substantially exceeds that which is normally expected. The recipients also must demonstrate high ethical standards and hold the respect of his/her peers.

Megan was recognized for her service to the WBA, particularly as editor of the monthly Bar-o-Meter magazine. Megan is completing a term as Vice President of the WBA and in the following year will be President-Elect before assuming the Presidency in 2027-28.

Calvin was recognized along with the five other members of the WBA Building Management Committee. The Committee is charged with overseeing the WBA’s building at 225 N. Market in Wichita, and navigating the financial issues related thereto.
