Amy D. DeWald

Amy DeWald was born and raised in Wichita, Kansas. She earned her Bachelor of Science degree from The University of Kansas in 2013. While at KU, Ms. DeWald received the President’s Award for Educational Achievement and was an Annual Linkugel Competition Speech Competition finalist.

After graduation, Ms. DeWald worked as a District Representative for the Fourth Congressional District of Kansas. Ms. DeWald began law school at the Washburn University School of Law in 2015. While attending law school she was named a Washburn Law Dawson Scholar. Ms. DeWald graduated from law school in May of 2018, earning her juris doctorate with Dean’s Honors, and joined Fleeson Gooing in September of 2018.

In her spare time, Ms. DeWald enjoys spending time with her husband, three daughters, family and friends, traveling to the lake for water sports and relaxation, reading, gardening, and participating in other outdoor activities around the Wichita area
