Matthew B. Sondergard

Matthew Sondergard was born and raised in Wichita, Kansas. He attended Kansas State University where he received his Bachelor of Science degree in Political Science and a minor in Business in 2015. Mr. Sondergard then went on to received his Juris Doctor from the University of Kansas School of Law in 2018, where he earned a Certificate in Business and Commercial Law.

While attending the University of Kansas School of Law, Mr. Sondergard served as an editor of the Kansas Law Review and authored Blaines Beware: Trinity Lutheran and the Changing Landscape of State No-Funding Provisions, 66 U. Kan. L. Rev. 753 (2018). Mr. Sondergard was admitted to the Kansas bar in 2019 and joined Fleeson Gooing in November of 2020.

Mr. Sondergard is a member of the Wichita and Kansas Bar Associations, and was named an Estate Planning & Probate “Rising Star” in the 2023 edition of the Missouri and Kansas Super Lawyers publication. Outside of work, Mr. Sondergard enjoys spending time with his wife, Jessica, and their three sons.
