Fleeson Gooing attorney Roarke Gordon has been named by the Kansas Supreme Court to serve as a member of the Kansas Board of Law Examiners.

The 10-member Board of Law Examiners is composed of lawyers and judges. It oversees all matters relating to applications for admission, character and fitness, testing accommodations, temporary permits to practice, and legal intern permits. It also recommends to the Kansas Supreme Court policies and procedures related to bar admission.

Roarke follows in the footsteps of former distinguished Fleeson attorney Donald R. Newkirk who, in the 1980s, served as member, as well as chair, of the Kansas Board for Admission of Attorneys, the predecessor to the Board Law Examiners.
