Fleeson Gooing is pleased to welcome Chandler E. Schmidt as Special Counsel.
Chandler is a 2017 graduate of Washburn Law School where he received Dean’s Honors. After law school, Chandler worked in the Kansas City area where he was selected as a Super Lawyers top-rated intellectual property attorney and a rising star in 2024-2025.
Chandler’s addition to the firm strengthens and expands the firm’s intellectual property (IP) practice. He is a registered patent attorney experienced in building IP property portfolios for individual entrepreneurs, small to large manufacturers, and academic institutions. He is also experienced in assisting clients in enforcing IP rights, negotiating licensing agreements, navigating IP risks, and performing due diligence for mergers and acquisitions. In addition to intellectual property, Chandler will practice in the areas of commercial, corporate and business law and litigation.
