Fleeson Gooing is pleased to welcome James Keating as an associate attorney.
James is a native of Pueblo, Colorado, and attended the University of Colorado Colorado Springs, achieving a Bachelor’s degree in Political Science and Philosophy. He attended Washburn University School of Law where he served as Notes Editor for the Washburn Law Journal and earned eight CALI awards for having the top grade in a particular course.
James spent the summer after his second year in law school clerking with Fleeson Gooing. He received his Juris Doctor degree from Washburn in 2026, graduating summa cum laude. After passing the bar examination, James was sworn in by Federal Magistrate Judge Brooks Severson, a former Fleeson Gooing attorney, and joined the firm.
James will begin his career working primarily in the area of litigation.
