It is with mixed emotions that Fleeson Gooing will be bidding farewell to attorney Ali Marchant. Ali has been appointed by Kansas Department of Labor Secretary Lana Gordon to serve as a Workers Compensation Administrative Law Judge in the Division of Workers Compensation’s Wichita office. She will assume her new position on July 28, 2014.
Ali is a 2006 graduate of Washburn University School of Law. She joined Fleeson Gooing as an associate attorney in 2007 and was elevated to staff attorney in 2013. She has practiced primarily in the areas of workers compensation, personal injury, and family law.
As an administrative law judge, Ali will preside over workers compensation cases, conducting hearings in contested claims and issuing decisions on all issues arising under the Kansas Workers Compensation Act.
The firm will miss Ali and wishes her the best of luck in her new position.
