On March 18, 2020, Kansas Supreme Court Justice Marla Luckert issued an Administrative Order regarding the impact of the coronavirus (COVID-19) outbreak on the courts of the state.  The order is reproduced in full below.  Briefly stated, all trials that have not yet begun are posponed and the district and appellate courts are indefinitely restricted to “emergency operations” described in the order. Certain time deadlines are also suspended. A second order, issued on March 20, 2020, clarified some of the district court emergency operations.  That order is also reproduced below.
